The Jagdpanther:
Germany's Legendary Tank Destroyer
This tape features footage of one of only three running Jagdpanthers in the
world, and the only one not in a museum collection.
This Jagdpanther was originally a gunnery range target and was
beautifully restored by Mike Gibb and his dedicated staff. The vehicle
is
a late war production version and has been painstakingly detailed, right
down to the correct paint and working 88-mm gun! The video was
captured
over three days at the 2005 Military Odyssey Show in Kent, England, where
the vehicle was first shown to the public. Highlights include close-up
detail
shots which modelers will appreciate, and lots of live action footage of
the tank destroyer taking part in a WWII battle reenactment.
